Administrative Responsibilities Delegated By The Rector

Administrative responsibility for the selection (subject to the Rector’s and Board of Trustee’s approval), supervision and support of faculty rests with the Deputy Rector & Provost supported by Chairmen or Chairwomen of the Faculties and others who may report to the Deputy Rector & Provost.

Administrative responsibility for the selection of students, in accordance with standards established from time to time by the University, rests with faculty members organized as Admission Committees supported by the Director of Admissions, who has responsibility for recruiting students and processing applications. The membership of Admission Committees are determined by the Rector.

Administration responsibility for the supervision of the students rests with the Dean of Students supported by the faculty and others who may report to the Dean of Students.

Administrative responsibility for the operation of the facilities, with the exception of the University Library, for the benefit of faculty and students rests with the Chief Operating Officer supported by others who may report to the Chief Operating Officer. Administrative responsibility for the University Library for the benefit of faculty and students rests with the University Librarian, who reports to the Deputy Rector & Provost, and is supported by others who may report to the University Librarian.

Administrative responsibility for financial resources, budgeting and internal audit rests with the Chief Financial Officer.
