American High School Equivalency Diploma Program Application
The eligibility for the American High School Equivalency Program (“AHSED”) is as follows: applicants should have achieved 10 standard in Myanmar government schools or the equivalent, supply matriculation examination results (if taken), be at least 16 years old and have an intermediate proficiency in English as evidenced by a TOEFL iBT™ score or IELTS™ score. Students who have not yet taken a TOEFL iBT™ or IELTS™ test should email the Admissions office about taking AUM’s English language proficiency test. Alternatively, applicants who have completed at least four years of private primary and secondary education up to grade 10 or Upper Secondary four in a school where the language of instruction is English immediately prior to enrolling in the AHSEP and have earned grades in their final year of a “B” average (or the equivalent) or higher will be eligible.
